The ‘D’ meal is Devilled Sausages. Although we had a recipe to use, for various reasons we didn’t have any measuring equipment, so it was all guesswork.

We used Hellers Sausages from New World (damn tasty), and I carefully added a small amount of cayenne pepper.

The result was really nice. Spicy, but not fire-breathing spicy.

This would be a very easy weekday meal, ideally suited for a cold winter’s night.
